But is the progressive explication of Jesus more accurate and truthful? And what implications will the altered versions of Jesus have on Christianity going forward?

Hijacking Jesus unravels the controversial narrative of Jesus painted by progressive Christians and reveals how progressive Christianity not only uproots the fabric of historic Christianity but overhauls the very identity and integrity of Jesus and pushes the boundary of biblical theology.

How do you respond when a controversial topic like gender identity, abortion, politics, or racism is brought up? Do you typically jump right in, or do you try to avoid getting dragged into the conversation?

The reality is most Christians avoid having a challenging conversation with someone of a different opinion. The thought of saying the wrong thing or fear things might get out of hand makes us too uncomfortable to speak up.

But that isn’t right. We can’t keep making excuses and allow ineffective communication methods to turn us away from one another and not speak up about the gospel of Jesus.

The purpose of “Challenging Conversations” is to teach you how to overcome your fears and learn how to respectfully engage people of a different mindset regarding controversial topics.

Session One: The Struggle to Communicate—Challenging conversations are a way of life. Think of them as a necessary evil. You may not like them, but sometimes you must face them if you are going to get to the truth.

Session Two: How to Become an Advocator of God’s Truth—As an advocator, your job is to win the other person over, not to make off-base accusations. You do this by conversing with them, not lecturing them. Your approach is to honor them as a person made in the image of God—not disparage them if they don’t conform to your point of view.

We live in a time when there is so much confusion and questioning of one’s sexual orientation or gender identity that we, as Christians, need to be better equipped to know God’s divine design and how to address these pressing issues with truth and love.

Session One: What Do All These Gender Terms Mean?

More young people embrace the idea a person can determine their gender. But is that true? In this opening talk, students will be presented with key terms concerning sexual orientation and gender—while learning to decipher the culture’s meaning from a biblical perspective of humanity and sexuality.

Session Two: Can Someone Be Gay or Trans and Still Be a Christian?

One of the most enduring ethical and theological debates is whether a person can be LGBTQ and a Christian. In this session, students will be challenged to think through God’s design for marriage and what the Bible teaches about sexuality and the nature of sin.

Session Three: How Can I Help a Loved One Who Is LGBTQ+?

God endows every person with value, dignity, and worth. So, no matter what a loved one is struggling with, our Christian duty is to love them in God’s truth and through his grace. In the final session, students will be equipped with “Five Must-Dos” that will be sure to help them when engaging an LGBTQ loved one.

If God is All-Good, why does He allow us to suffer? And if He is All-Powerful, then why doesn’t He just get rid of evil? These are deeply challenging questions—and considered two of the greatest challenges brought against Christianity.

However, the problem of evil isn’t just a “problem” for Christians, but for every single person, religion and worldview. Why? Because evil is real.

In this talk, Jason Jimenez will breakdown the apparent tension between God and the reality of evil, look into the intellectual and emotional aspects of evil, present a biblical case why things are the way they are and what God plans to do about it in the end.

LEARN LIFE is a pro-life event designed around the acronym L.I.F.E. to help you tactfully and respectfully respond to the arguments used by abortion advocates. In using the L.I.F.E. acronym, you will learn how to converse with an abortion advocate by laying out the case for life; introduce a baby to compare similarities; force certain dilemmas; and engage them effectively beyond the conversation—that hopefully—will result in saving more unborn lives.

Every Christian has their doubts. But does that mean they need to deconstruct their faith? If so, what would that even look like?

It seems like every social media platform you jump on has a trending hashtag about people deconstructing their faith.

Yet, many who “deconstruct their faith” come to the conclusion that they no longer believe in Christianity, and now consider themselves “woke” and no longer under oppressive and rigid doctrines.

So, how do we work though the confusion, doubting, and disillusionment?

In this talk, Christians will be presented with the truth of deconstruction and how it is being defined with a religious connotation in our modern day, while discovering the hidden dangers of “wokeness” and what to do to counter its false beliefs.

As we strive to reduce racism in the world, a few movements and ideologies have gained momentum in the church to attempt to do just that. But unfortunately, some of the directives and methodologies that Christians are embracing to “end racism” are positions that run contrary to a biblical worldview.

In this talk, we will confront the racial divide that is present in our culture (and in churches), be made aware of some alarming features within the ideology of CRT and anti-racism, and seek humble ways to break down the stereotypes and racial tensions that disrupt the unity of God’s family.

The culture today is more interested in painting God as a cosmic bully than a merciful God. Most of the media, elite schools, and staunch atheists claim that the God of the Bible is a cruel and ruthless deity who caused mass genocide in the Old Testament.

When you read the Old Testament, it seems God advocates violence, and promotes evil acts like genocide, slavery, and rape. But how can that be? How do you justify the God of the Old Testament with Jesus in the New Testament?

In this talk, Christians will gain a better understanding of the New Atheist Movement and the atheist’s distorted interpretations of the Old Testament ethics described in the times of Moses and the various battles mentioned. Christians will be biblically equipped on how to evaluate Old Testament passages in their proper context, and rest assured that God is not a Moral Monster but an All-Loving God.
