In a world that often expects you to be strong and unyielding, it is important to acknowledge and address the struggles you may face. Depression and anxiety can silently creep into your life, clouding your mind and weighing down your spirit. But please know that you are not alone in this battle.

It is deeply concerning for many when young people drift away from Christianity. While it may be disheartening to see this trend, it is crucial to approach this issue with empathy and a heart of prayer for the next generation. By understanding the reasons behind their departure and adopting strategies to reach out to them with the gospel, we need never give up as we seek to guide them back to Jesus Christ.

The ongoing controversies surrounding Andy Stanley and the recent Unconditional Conference held at North Point Church need to be addressed as it was a clear departure from the scriptural teachings found in the Bible.

There was a time when a child’s mood swings were chalked up as nothing more than a phase — something that the child would soon grow out of. Today, however, significant mood swings can signal something far more precarious. They can indicate that your son or daughter suffers from depression or some other mental disorder.

“All religious views are true.” This is known as religious pluralism. It is important to point out, however, that most religions don’t hold to such a belief. Why? It’s absurd. Based on the Law of Noncontradiction (A is not non-A), it’s impossible for all religions to be true. It is impossible to affirm God exists and deny he exists at the same time and in the same sense. Christianity, for example, believes in God, but atheism and religions such as Buddhism deny God exists. Either there is a God or there is not. It can’t be both.

Be careful not to buy into the self-defeating belief that truth is relative, for even the assertion that there is no absolute truth claims to be absolutely true. There are many people today who push their thinking on Christians to be more tolerant and accept the belief that truth is not absolute or exclusive. King David wrote, “Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation” (Ps. 25:5 ESV). God is truth, and your life is in far better hands than if you trust the lies spouted out in the world.

Biblical Christianity solidly asserts all these things based on the Word of God. But in the postmodern era, the call of progressive Christian voices “remaking Jesus” is becoming more tantalizing to many. Progressive Christians say their “modernizing of Jesus” makes Him a more friendly and accepting figure for self-identified Christians. They say they are simply “refreshing” Jesus (sort of like Subway keeps refreshing its sandwiches). Examples: Peter Enns, Jonathan Merritt, Sarah Bessey, Rachel Held Evans, Kristin Kobes Du Mez, Rob Bell, John Shelby Song, Richard Rohr, Brian McLaren, David Gushee.

Having a biblical worldview is of utmost importance in today's world. It provides a lens through which we can interpret and navigate the complexities of life, helping us make informed decisions and live purposefully.

Right out the gate, Jesus isn't a made-up character like Santa Claus. There's simply no comparison. To be clear, when referring to Santa Claus, I'm not referring to St. Nicolas, who lived sometime in the 3rd or 4th Century.

Though most Millennials affirm God’s existence, an overwhelming majority reject the notion that God is Truth and is the Ultimate Standard of justice. Therefore, you are left with Jesus as a way to God. Not the only way.

Are we to give up on their generation seeing that the rise of the “religiously unaffiliated” continues to mass more followers? Or are we to acknowledge the crisis before us and be willing to do whatever God has called us to do to engage Millennials with the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Many good and sensible people were quick to post on Facebook, letting the world know how they felt about a “white” cop shooting a black man in his car. Turning it into a white-on-black crime. Come to find out, however, the officer wasn’t actually white. He was Hispanic.
